2008 Harbor Lights Triathlon

You are invited to join with 1,500 triathletes on Waukegan’s beautiful north shore lakefront for the 7th annual Harbor Lights Triathlon. The race site is just 45 minutes from downtown Chicago and within easy reach via the expressway for triathletes from Chicagoland, Indiana and Wisconsin.

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or new to the sport, theHarbor Lights Triathlon is made to order. The race starts and finishes in Waukegan’s beautiful lakefront park and includes an 800 yard swim with a beach start and finish, a 13.2-mile bike on a closed and flat course with plenty of room for passing, and a 4-mile run that includes a stretch down beautiful tree-lined Sheridan Road. The race finishes in the park near the band shell.
